About Photography by Mary Mannix

Mary Mannix is a Professional Photographers of America ~ Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman and Affiliated Juror.  Mary’s photographic experience spans across three decades. After owning and operating a high-end Chicago-land portrait/wedding studio Mary relocated to Port Washington, Wisconsin.  Her passion for photography beckoned and she opened The Portrait Gallery, making the jump from film to the wonderful world of “digital”. 

Mary was offered the opportunity to work with Canon U.S.A. as a Professional Market Representative, so once again she packed her gear and blended her love of teaching with her passion for photography.  Mary’s level of artistry is attested to by numerous awards in state and national exhibitions, as well as twice being named a Top Ten Photographer in the state of Illinois. Her work has been featured in many trade and national publications.

Mary currently resides in Chicago and devotes her time to creating one of a kind images for her clientele.
